Nowadays collecting checkpoint data of business process activities of transactions becomes important data resource for business analyst and decision-makers to support tactical decisions in general and strategic decisions in particular. In the context of business process-oriented applications, business activity monitoring (BAM) systems, which are predicted to play a major role in the future business-intelligence area is the most visible use of the current business needs. In this paper we address an approach to derive an activity warehouse model based on the BAM requirements. The implementation shows that data stored in activity warehouse is able to efficiently monitor the business process in real-time and provide a better real-time visibility of the business process.
