Our philosophy
A special aspect of Software Competence Center Hagenberg (SCCH) is the combination of science and industry. This applies for the staff as well. We are looking for researchers who have established themselves on a scientific basis or seek to do so (with publications, conference participation, etc.) and who also bring their know-how to industrial R&D projects.
SCCH affords both young and experienced scientists with/without a doctorate the possibility of further personal and scientific development and to apply and test their new knowledge for their practicability in real applications. We vest great value in a highly qualified team and require a completed university degree in computer science, mathematics or a related field. Postdocs are also welcome, and a number of students who are approaching the end of their studies are also hired for the purpose of training young scientists.
The international orientation of SCCH is reflected in its staff. We seek the best researchers, regardless of their nation of origin. In particular, qualified women should apply, for we wish to contribute to increasing the share of women in engineering.
