Wolfgang Stockner, CEO of bluesource mobile solutions
I graduated in Software Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Hagenberg. Already during my time as project manager at Software Competence Center Hagenberg, I intensely pursued the world of mobile computing & telephony and authored publications on the subject. In 2001, together with my former fellow student DI (FH) Roland Sprengseis, I launched the startup bluesource mobile solutions. In addition to my responsibilities as CEO, I am also active in business development.
Gerhard Leonhartsberger, Authorized Representative, Departement for Solution Delivery, Raiffeisen Verbundunternehmen-IT
I studied Computer Science at Johannes Kepler University Linz. Until 2008 I headed Software Technology and Software Engineering at Software Competence Center Hagenberg. My mission was to channel results and knowledge from application-oriented software research to the steel, finance, automation and telecommunications industries. Now I head software development for Raiffeisen Bausparkassen Systeme. The foci of my work are lean software architectures, software migration, agile scalable software development processes, and open source technologies.
Walter Hargassner, Head of the Online Departement, Ocilion IPTV Technologies
I studied Software Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Hagenberg. Over the next 13 years at SCCH I had the pleasure of leading numerous interesting research projects. Due to the diversity of the tasks – in terms of both topic and the required technical know-how – I was able to continuously develop and grow personally. Also, the internal advanced training at SCCH and my second degree (Information Engineering and Management) from Hagenberg provided the perfect basis for my current job at Ocilion IPTV Technologies
Mario Pichler, Researcher DAS
I have been with SCCH since 2001. What makes working here so attractive for me is a combination of several factors. I find the quiet and relaxed location of the Software Park ideal for actively advancing new technologically and socially relevant research and development at SCCH.
Christine Natschläger, Executive Head RSE
Since 2004 I have been on the SCCH team. After my graduation I was able to continue my research at SCCH and to write my dissertation on “Extension of BPMN with Deontic Logic”. As head of a research group, I am responsible for economic and scientific tasks. Flexible work time allows me to be dedicated both to my twins and my career.
Christian Lettner, Researcher in DAS
I joined SCCH in November 2005. SCCH enables me to conduct exciting projects at the interface between research and industry. The option of part-time parental leave allows me to combine family and career.
Birgit Malli, Researcher in DAS
I have worked for SCCH since 2011. After graduating in mathematics I sought a job where I could merge research and application-oriented work. I became part of a project involving data analysis, modeling, process control and optimization of (bio)chemical processes. I find it particularly stimulating that newly acquired knowledge can be immediately evaluated in practice and that we generally seek solutions to problems that actually occur in practice.
Xiaoying Tan, Researcher in KVS
In SCCH, there is supportive and positive environment as well as good work life balance. In its collaborative culture, I feel it is encouraged to reach out to others for help. There are always different interesting and challenging projects, from which you can gain a lot valuable experience.
Georgios C. Chasparis, Researcher in DAS
SCCH provides a vivid research environment with a highly-competent personnel and a well-balanced mixture between fundamental and applied research. The European H2020 project RePhrase, which aims at improving performance of parallelized applications, is a characteristic example since it combines high-level optimization methods and novel program development.
