Data Science & Software Science

Partner for industry and research

Research at Software Competence Center Hagenberg (SCCH) concentrates on equal footing in Data Science and Software Science. The synergy of Data Science and Software Science at SCCH is an important success factor.

As a COMET competence center, SCCH conducts cutting-edge research on an international level. Together with our scientific partners, especially Johannes Kepler University Linz, SCCH strives toward leadership in the future-oriented fields of digitalization and artificial intelligence.

Deep Learning at the Edge

Join the event in Linz

On February 7th, SCCH and its partners from H2020 ALOHA project organize an event on the topic of Deep Learning and Embedded Systems. Take part in existing talks from researchers and professionals in this field.

Hannover Messe

AI meets Software Engineering

The interplay of automation and energy technology, intralogistics, IT platforms and artificial intelligence is driving the digital transformation of industry forward. HANNOVER MESSE's main theme, "Integrated Industry - Industrial Intelligence", demonstrates the potential of this development.

Facts and figures magazine is online

In the magazine you will find the business figures for 2017, exciting research projects and an overview of our COMET partners.

RTO Innovation Summit

Expanding the scientific network

Mario Pichler attended the RTO Innovation Summit in Brussels at the beginning of November. More than 400 participants took part in that event.

Determine the state of health of machines

The aim of the project is to investigate the scientific and technical basis for the detection, diagnosis and prediction of faults in technical systems. In particular, the research of robust learning algorithms will be used to create the basis for a software platform that can be used as generally as possible to analyze the state of technical systems.

Project Smart Villages started

Digitisation in rural areas

The aim of the Interreg Alpine Space project "Smart Villages" is to prepare communities in the Alpine Space to recognise and exploit the opportunities offered by digitisation. Various cities throughout Europe are already calling themselves Smart Cities. This approach is now to be applied to rural communities as well.
