Workshop in Bolzano
The automation of time- and cost-intensive software tests employs industrial and commercial companies as well as research. The common goal is to increase the degree of automation in the software test. Test automation is well supported by powerful tools and can be implemented in any software project. Effective, long lasting test automation remains a challenge. There are numerous examples in which the initial efficiency increase has been eaten by the ongoing maintenance and adaptation effort for the automated tests. In this workshop the participants were familiarized with the random testing.
The aim of the seminar was the practical learning of the available tools and the recognition of the advantages and disadvantages of random-based testing.
