DFKI ranks among the top league in AI research

The first station led to the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). In the international scientific world, DFKI plays in the league of elite research centres and, according to its own figures - measured by number of employees and third-party funding - is the world's largest non-profit research centre in the field of artificial intelligence.

Visit to humanoid robot lady Pepper

The last item on the agenda was a visit to the humanoid robot lady Pepper and her developers at Blackout Technologies. The young start-up company was founded in 2016 and is one of the pioneers in the field of social robotics. In Bremen's World Trade Center, the 10-strong team programs the software for the robot personalities - and grows rapidly.
