Abstract To remain competitive on the market it is increasingly necessary to make business decisions ever faster. As work is becoming more flexible and mobile this implies that required information is accessible from everywhere at anytime. In addition, by thinking of our daily information overload, there is strong desire for more personalized information in order to perform our business transactions as easy as possible. To achieve these goals we introduce ubiquitous business as the vision of staying in touch with everyone and everything from wherever you are. Ubiquitous business means, that required information will be available everywhere, will be ubiquitous it is the vision of a ubiquitous information access. In particular we have identified four important areas of ubiquitous business, the four building blocks of ubiquitous business: networked infrastructure, mobility, intelligent environments, and natural interfaces.
