Abstract

Quality aspects - or non-functional aspects - play a crucial role for systems on the World Wide Web. Consequently, there is high demand to address these aspects methodically and systematically in testing. This paper presents an approach for organizing tests that take the importance of quality aspects for Web projects into account. Three dimensions are proposed along which tests can be arranged: quality, features, and phases. Together, these three dimensions describe a scheme that is used to structure and categorize tests, e.g., for test planning, test case design, test execution, or test effort estimation.
