| Abstract | Web portals are a means for presentation levelintegration of enterprise applications and services. Wedescribe an approach for enhancing presentation levelintegration in web portals by supporting communicationbetween presentation level components. The approach isbased on established standards in this area and allowsthe exchange of structured XML-data between local andremote applications and services. Since the approach ismostly declarative, it can also be used for improvingintegration of already existing presentation components. |
